Shane recently published a new video discussing a proposed ordinance in the City of Pensacola on Film and Photography

Shane-Willis-BS“The city of Pensacola is trying to regulate the film industry here in the city. I can see why since we have such beautiful landscape here. I also understand that if a movie production shuts down a street for hours and has a large crew they should get a permit from the city” says Shane

In the video Shane goes on to state on how the proposal is too broad. “The current proposal states EVERY video or still photographer that is used commercially is required to get a permit. Does this mean if I take a picture of Palafox Street during Mardi Gras to use for my website and marketing I need a permit?” Shane goes on to encourage his listeners to contact city council and ask for the ordinance to be revised.
